Let your friends and family know you love them, even if you haven’t been able to see them for a few months.

“The first thing that I’m gonna share with y’all is the Shoebox Collection! I love handwritten cards. I just think it’s a sweet thing to do for each other,” says Pickler. “It’s a beautiful art that I hope never goes away. I’m just all about a good laugh and I know the world could use that.”

Want to keep your fruits and veggies fresh through the fall? Invest in some mason jars. “My grandmother had a big part in raising me and she gardened, and I’ve always had a love for gardening. I would say that, if anything, I’ve had to buy more mason jars. So I’ve been canning.”

If you have a bit of a green thumb (or wish you had one), Pickler has a book rec for you. “I love to read, I love books,” she says. “Another thing that I’ve purchased during quarantine is called Preserving Our Roots. It’s the sweetest book. I highly recommend it if you’re interested in farming, but even if you’re not because it may inspire you to pay attention to what matters.”

Next up on Pickler’s book list? The Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine. “It has every plant and it’ll show you its healing properties and how you can make tea for a migraine or a toothache,” says the musician. “Or maybe you need to flush your liver because I think a lot of people have been drinking during this quarantine as well!”

Jigsaw puzzles are a great way to pass the time—just make sure you have space to spread out! “I ordered this puzzle that I haven’t put together yet because I don’t have a room big enough for it,” says the musician. “I could probably knock it out in a few days. I don’t have a table I can put it on — I thought maybe I could do it in the garage! I’ll have to move everything out. We love finding little hobbies like that, that we enjoy.”

Shop it: Galison Houseplant Jungle 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, $14 (was $17), amazon.com
