Kelley Flanagan Accuses ‘The Bachelor’ Producers of Preventing Her From Seeing Peter Weber While Filming

  • Kelley Flanagan is breaking her silence on what happened during Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor.

  • Kelley claims the show’s producers prevented her from connecting with Peter.

Everyone knows that viewers l-o-v-e to see drama unfold on reality TV, and let’s be honest, show producers know that! But sometimes drama comes with a toss-up—angering the actual people involved. And apparently, this is exactly what happened to Kelley Flanagan when she was on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor.

On Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins’ Almost Famous podcast, Kelley accused producers on The Bachelor of manipulating Peter’s feelings about her, which she said caused him to treat her differently.

“The first couple of weeks I saw him look at me differently compared to when we got on our one-on-one and I could tell a hundred percent that like producers were in his head,” she said. “Because on the one-on-one, nothing happened between us but he had this, like, demeanor toward me that was so pissed off and I was looking at him, like, ‘What the hell were you told?’ because nothing happened here for you to have this attitude. And so right then and there, I knew something was going on behind the scenes, and I was like, ‘This is bullshit.’”

Kelley said she then went on a date with Peter and asked him if she could “speak freely” with him about what was going on behind the scenes, and she told him that other girls were being pushed to the forefront instead of her.

“[I told him], ‘They don’t let me see you. They locked me up in a closet for three hours last week, and they won’t let me see you,’” she said. “I said, ‘You clearly know they push some people forward and they don’t push others forward.’ It’s just I saw him, like, things were getting in his head that he wasn’t able to make his own decision and it just kind of pissed me off.”

Unfortunately, this might check out. Remember when Peter said he didn’t make his dumb Bachelor decisions on purpose? Well...on Nick Viall's Viall Files podcast, Peter added, “I’m making decisions in the moment based off the information I have. I’m not making dumb decisions on purpose. I know everyone thinks I am and everyone thinks I’m being indecisive. And yeah, there was a lot of indecision, but that’s what you get when you date so many women at once.” (Key words here: “Based on the information I have.”)

I guess in the end, it doesn’t really matter how Peter’s season of The Bachelor ended anyway because he and Kelley reconnected after the show was over, and now they’re in quarantine together. Funny how that worked out!
