Kelley Flanagan Hits Back at Peter Weber for Accusing Her of Being ‘Calculated’

The Peter Weber–Kelley Flanagan drama continues in full force!

Following their official breakup in December 2020 and Super Bowl reunion in February 2021, Flanagan reopened the chat on May 21. During an appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast, the reality star told the world that the relationship ended on “really bad terms” and culminated in her telling the Bachelor star to “get the hell out of my life” and “lose my number.”

Weber didn't like that and recorded his own podcast about their status on May 26. “I'm going to be so brutally honest with you guys...and just speak from the heart. I thought it was very calculated,” he said on Bachelors in the City, per Good Morning America. “I thought after hearing how it went that it was very trying to push for a headline. Very calculated, very disingenuous.”

He later added, “This is literally half a year old, and that's why I bring it back to this calculated point that I talked about in the beginning and wanting to ride it as long as she possibly can, or make headlines, or get people talking.” For an extra splash of drama, the episode was titled “Peter's Side of the Story.”

Well, if Weber thought that would be the end of it, he was sorely mistaken. On May 28, his ex took to her own YouTube account to “acknowledge some things” in an eight-and-a-half-minute video. “Usually I'd let it slide, but when there are things out there that are misconstrued, I am always going to stick up for myself as I think everyone else should,” she began, per Cosmopolitan. “And this is kind of in reference as to what is being said about me: that I'm calculated, that I want to hit headlines, that I'm disingenuous, and things like that.”

Without mentioning Weber's name—or even really going into details about what went down between them—Kelley Flanagan hit back at the accusation that she was simply looking for attention. According to Flanagan, things took a turn after Valentine's Day—hardly “half a year ago,” as Weber put it—and it all came down to feeling “disrespected.”

“Someone is giving their opinion as to why I did it with no facts behind it, which I think is a little bit crazy,” she said before reiterating the timeline and what she had said on Chicks in the Office. “The bear was poked. There was a lot of things even going on, being disrespected, going and hanging out with my family friends, posting everywhere. I was just like, I don't understand. When you end badly with someone, you would think that they would just try to respect you a little bit and just go their way instead of reaching out to my friends.”

She continued, “When something happens that's extremely disrespectful, you have to know your worth and you have to sit there and say, ‘Good luck to you, I wish you the best in the future but I just don't necessarily want you in my life,’” adding, “I think I would have respected him more if he didn't accuse me of trying to hit headlines.”
