Keke Palmer has us in a mood with her silky new track, "FYG," which she just released yesterday. The BAZAAR.com digital cover star gets unabashedly flirty on the R&B melody, whose title stands for "F Your Girlfriend" and whose lyrics are filled with lines like, "Ooo quit with the teasing / You should be pleasing me." Consider this the 2020 version of Ariana Grande's "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored."

Though Palmer has been keeping her followers entertained with quarantine dance videos and "coronavirus" celebrity impressions on social media, she's also been treating them to new music, including a Rick Ross remix to her astrological single "Virgo Tendencies," and "Got Em Mad" featuring TK Kravitz.

Palmer recently wowed in 2019's Hustlers and regularly graces TV screens in the daytime talk show Strahan, Sara and Keke, but there's more to the multi-hyphenate star than her latest IMDb entries. The singer and actress has been performing since childhood—her early credits including True Jackson, VP, Akeelah and the Bee, and a small role in Barbershop 2: Back in Business—but she knew she wasn't meant to stay in one lane.

"From the beginning of my career, my mom always made me feel comfortable with being multifaceted," she tells BAZAAR.com in her digital cover story. "But I think in our industry, at the time that I got in, you were only allowed to be one thing. If you are a movie star, you can't be on TV. If you are a TV star, you'll never do movies."

Keke has proven that those rules don't apply to her.
