Keith Urban Fans Are Freaking Out Over the Singer’s Exciting Music News on Instagram

Summer is officially in full swing and there are quite a few country music artists out on the road belting out songs, old and new. Well, folks, we can now add Keith Urban to the unofficial roster because he recently made a surprise social media announcement about a new project.

On June 29, the Australian singer posted an electrifying Instagram video, in which he revealed pretty epic news to concert-goers in Florida. After spending two nights performing an unreleased song called "Brown Eyes Baby," Keith excitedly shared that an official studio version of the track would be his next single.

"We kicked off the #TSONworldtour in FL a couple of weekends ago & played this song both nights," he captioned the clip. "Since then, sooooo many of you have been posting videos & asking for this one to be released. Brown Eyes Baby - out everywhere July 8 and we’re gonna play it tomorrow morning on the @todayshow!"

Yes, you read it right — The Voice Australia coach is coming out with new music you can add to your summer playlists! He even had the chance to perform the new song during an appearance on the Today show.

Now, you may be wondering exactly what — or rather, who — "Brown Eyes Baby" is about. Given how Keith's wife Nicole Kidman is known for her blue eyes, maybe it's about his two daughters, Sunday and Faith? As of right now, we don't know the exact inspiration behind the tune. But he did give us a sneak peek at some of the lyrics, which you could check out below:

Wow. The lyrics alone sound beautiful. Unsurprisingly, Keith's fans think the same. Many excitedly rushed over to the comments section to voice their excitement about the new track.
