Keep Breathing fans are all making the same point about new Netflix show

Now that we've binge-watched Stranger Things season 4, we're on the hunt for a new series to get our teeth stuck into on Netflix. We tried The Holiday, we raced through Virgin River, and now we're turning our attention to Keep Breathing.
The limited-series is currently number one in the streaming service's Top 10, with the official description reading, "When a small plane crashes in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, a lone survivor must battle agains the elements - and her personal demons - to stay alive."
The show stars Melissa Barrera as Liv, the sole survivor, alongside Jeff Wilbusch as Danny, Austin Stowell as Sam, Florencia Lozano as Lucia and Juan Pablo Espinosa as Tomas. While many fans on social media are clearly loving the show, others have been making the same complaint about Keep Breathing.
Namely that while it's described as a story of "survival", it actually delves more into Liv's past and struggles with her childhood trauma. As one put it, "I think Keep Breathing on Netflix is good, but I feel like it's more a story about childhood trauma than it is a adventure/survival story."
Someone else said, "I wish more people understood this. It's only mediocre on the wilderness survival story but there's a lot of thoughtfulness and nuance in the mental health/childhood trauma story that makes it deserving of my respect."
Another put, "There are going to be a lot of angry people who take the time to watch Keep Breathing on Netflix. It’s the exact opposite of an exciting wilderness survival story."
Keep breathing on Netflix is less about her survival and much more about her childhood trauma. I loved it, loved it so much.
