Fall snacks are all about warm, comforting flavors, which is why we can’t get enough of pumpkin spice-flavored foods. Cinnamon, along with other spices, are a crucial part of the treats, so we’re not surprised that Keebler has a new snack coming out that embodies that taste.
Keebler Fudge Stripes is launching Cinnamon Fudge Swirl cookies just in time for the cooler weather. The flavor was inspired by cinnamon rolls, by combining the shortbread cookies with white cinnamon fudge stripes.
The Fudge Stripes Cinnamon Fudge Swirl cookies and Chips Deluxe Birthday Cake cookies were both created based on the insight that dessert-flavored limited-edition cookies have the highest level of repeat purchases in the category, according to Natalie Hagstrom, general manager of the cookies, crusts, and cones portfolio at Ferrara Candy Co.
If these cookies seem familiar, it’s probably because Keebler has released an actual Cinnamon Roll flavor before. The limited batch came out in 2017, but it’s unclear how they differ from these new ones.
Keebler hasn’t revealed when the Fudge Stripes Cinnamon Fudge Swirl cookies will be hitting shelves — however, the packaging indicates that they’re limited-edition. So once they do wind up in the snack aisle, we won’t be wasting any time picking up a package (or two).
In addition to Fudge Stripes and Chips Deluxe, the Ferrara Group, which recently acquired the Keebler cookie business, also recently released Nerds Gummy Clusters and Brach’s Turkey Dinner Candy Corn. The company will be launching Mother’s Sparkling Mythical Creature Cookies. It’s the season of snacking!
