If your workout routine has fallen by the wayside, the popular Australian personal trainer Kayla Itsines is here to help you get your body moving — and feeling good — again.

The fitness star and co-creator of the Bikini Body Guides (BBG) fitness program has created a 5-Day Workout Challenge for Yahoo Life readers that’s designed to get you back on track. All of the workouts can be done from the comfort of your own home — and there’s no equipment needed. Plus, Itsines is offering an exclusive reward for Yahoo Life readers!

“I know how hard it can be to get back into training, whether you’re never trained before [or] whether you’re sore from yesterday’s workout — it is hard,” Itsines tells Yahoo Life. “But what we’re doing with this workout series is we’re slowly building up to be able to build on that motivation [and] to build that fitness level so you feel confident.”

Ready for today’s 10-minute workout?

Watch the workout at the top of this article — and be sure to follow along this week for a new workout every day.

Today’s workout routine features 7 exercises with a 1-minute rest between each set. As Itsines says, “we’re stepping it up a bit” on Day 2 of the 5-Day Workout Challenge.

The moves, which include squats, lunges, ab bicycles, and push-ups, target multiple muscle groups, such as abs, arms, quads, glutes, and hamstrings. The entire routine takes only 10 minutes — no equipment required. So what are you waiting for?

BBG success story: Jacqueline Granado

Jacqueline Granado, who lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland, started following Itsines’s workouts in February 2017 to prepare for her wedding that fall. She kept up with the fitness routine after her wedding, and over the course of 11 months, Granado lost 30 pounds.

“My body changed so much,” Granado tells Yahoo Life. “I felt good about my health and my strength, and I was proud of the progress I was making.”

Then, in 2018, Granado’s life took an unexpected turn when her grandmother passed away and she started a job that kept her “glued” to a computer for 11 hours a day. “I was completely overwhelmed by these big shifts, and I reverted back to some unhealthy habits — eating only processed foods and not moving my body. Within 7 months, I gained all the weight back, plus some.”

But in mid-2019, Granado recommitted herself to Itsines’s BBG workout programs and has stuck with it ever since, despite being diagnosed with congenital heart disease. “BBG has pushed my limits and literally strengthened my heart,” says Granado, who schedules her workouts in her calendar to make sure she sticks to them. “My reason for working out now is so much different than it was at the start. I don't want to be tiny — I want to be strong and healthy, and I am.”

Granado says that it took “gaining weight back, starting from zero again, and having a traumatic health scare to really have respect for my body,” adding: “This has been years in the making, but I can confidently say now that I love and respect my body for all it has been capable of.”

It helps that Itsines has created an “incredible community of women who support each other,” says Granado. The workouts are “killer,” she says, “but I really believe it is the support you receive from other women that keep us coming back.”
