Lizzo Just Confirmed Who She’s Dating in *the* Most Iconic Way Possible

After Lizzo basically confirmed that she's in a relationship in April and is, like, wildly happy, the internet was set aflame over who her SO could possibly be. The singer, who married herself in 2017's "Truth Hurts" video and engaged in flirty DMs with Chris Evans, even made fun of her relationship status during her SNL monologue: "They think I’m collecting members of One Direction like Infinity Stones. I even heard a rumor that I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’s baby. I have no idea where that one started. It could be the TikTok I did where I said, ‘I am pregnant with Chris Evans’s baby.’ It’s called manifesting."

IRL, though, Lizzo hasn't ever publicly named her beloved beau...that is, until she confirmed everyone's suspicions about it being Mike Wright over the weekend. Yep, the actor was the "Good as Hell" singer's plus one to a v important event: a screening of her upcoming Prime Video show. They just made their first-ever red carpet debut!

Over the weekend, the two attended the screening of Lizzo's Prime Video series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls and looked alllll types of in love. In an Insta carousel the singer subsequently posted, she included a super sweet pic of them to commemorate the night (not to mention...she also showcased a diamond ring on *that* finger placed over his).

Fans were totally right about guessing who he was.

Lizzo hadn't ever really named the magnificent gentleman in her life and instead chose to keep his name private—which is sweet, tbh. But in late April, Us Weekly reported that fans thought it might be Myke Wright, who's a comedian and actor who previously starred with Lizzo on the MTV series Wonderland:

According to his IMDb, he's had parts in Doubting Thomas (2018), How to Be a Grown Up (2014), and Breaking & Entering (2013). Also, he does stand-up, and here he is talking about celebrity kids (lol):

She admitted she was in a relationship earlier this year.

Back in February 2022, an interviewer for Variety asked her, “Are you currently in love?” and she replied, “Oooh. We got to go! I’m just going to say—a little bit.” Then, she confirmed to Andy Cohen after an April 2022 sighting of her and this "mystery man" (who we now know is Mike 👀) that she's dating someone. He, like, point-blank asked her and she (kind of shocked but also rlly happily) was like, "Yea, whatever. Yea!" She also said the other person doesn't need to be a celeb, "if you have the right person—no—it's not even a factor, because it should be mutually supportive, no matter what that person does."

We first knew about it in 2021.

Just after The Sun posted some pics of her and Mike hanging out in Malibu in March 2021, Lizzo posted with the caption "single" on her Insta, which I figure was her basically telling all of us it was none of our business (which, fair!). Then paparazzi nabbed pics of the pair again in August and October 2021, then again in January 2022:

And once again in February 2022 with the actor covering his face with a ski mask (smart!!). We even got some masked-up hand-holding in April:

In March 2022, Lizzo shared that she's with someone and over the moon. Captioning the post, "Happyyyyyyyyyyyy," Lizzo is posing (drink in hand, ofc) then leans over and almost loses her balance attempting to kiss a man off-screen. Which, like, is everything I've always wanted for her.

Also, in May, during a weekend celebrating her bday, at the veeeery end you can catch a glimpse of his face (eye heart emoji).

He's super-supportive.

Apparently, Mike was there when Lizzo hosted SNL—and if that's not love, I don't want it. Plus, she arrived at the after-party holding hands with him!!
