Katy Perry Wore the Most Stunning Denim Corset and 'American Idol' Fans Are Speechless

With American Idol season 6 set to premiere on February 19, fans can't wait to see which new batch of competitors will rise to the top. But judge Katy Perry already does this — albeit in a different, more fashionable way.

The "Hot N Cold" singer had fans talking when she arrived to the CMA Awards in November 2022. Since Katy loves wearing unique outfits on the red carpet, her light blue all-denim ensemble stood out amongst the attendees. The top part of the look featured a corset with a plunging neckline and straps placed off the shoulders. As for bottoms, Katy wore flared pants with an oversized bow at the waist.

Given the riskiness of the outfit, the ABC star kept the rest of the outfit more tame.

To accent the Canadian denim tuxedo-inspired look, she donned a diamond choker necklace, matching earrings and a pair of pointed stilettos. She styled her long dark hair in her signature middle part. To pull everything together, she swiped on bold eyeliner with a rosy cheek and lip color.

When Katy posted a video from her red carpet arrival later on TikTok, it wasn't long before American Idol fans reacted to it. One theme stood out: how much they all loved seeing her at the event.

"She is so beautiful 🥰," one person wrote in the comments section. "It’s illegal to be this beautiful," a different user added. "The queen is back 🤎," another replied.

Luckily for us, it won't be long before the Grammy nominee stuns viewers with her impeccable style on TV. What's more, she continues to surprise people off-screen with one-of-a-kind outfits she successfully pulls off. Back in February 2022, she had all eyes on her in a green tube top, brown leather-style trench coat and matching pants.
