Singer Katy Perry has been busy raising her newborn daughter, Daisy, so we imagine hair has been the last thing on her mind. But now she's back to work as part of the judging panel on American Idol, and the hair switch-ups have begun...
Katy's hair is peroxide blonde at the moment, and she tends to wear it straight and short most days (if her recent Insta posts are anything to go by).
She posted a picture of a very high, long ponytail last week, with the famous American Idol background behind her. We assumed the look was created using a ponytail piece, but then she performed at the T Mall Double 11 Gala a couple of days later (are you keeping up?) and her hair appeared to be a golden-blonde colour, and sooo long it sat just below her waist.
She also wore dramatic cat-eye flicks for the performance, and followers were quick to point out her resemblance with another well-known singer...
"Is that Adele??" asked one fan, while another commented: "I thought this was Adele at first ! ♥️"
Adele had an American hair makeover last month for her appearance on Saturday Night Live, stunning fans with a long, glossy blow dry. She also made headlines back in August when she first revealed the dramatic new look, wearing her long, blonde locks in gorgeous beach waves.
Well, we've got to say, the resemblance between Katy and Adele is uncanny, don't you think?
Don't ever hang out together, girls. And if you do, please wear name badges...
