Katie Holmes Makes a Statement in Silver Dress & Animal Print Boots

Katie Holmes is at it again—but this time, she’s taking a walk on the wild side…literally.

Last night, the 40-year-old actress attended FilmAid’s Power of Film benefit in New York City. Holmes wore a silky floor-length dress, which she paired with animal print boots. (We know, it sounds laughable, but it actually kind of works.)

The Dawson’s Creek alum wore a long sleeve silver maxi dress by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, which featured a thigh-high lace slit. She accessorized the look with an edgy pair of zebra-print boots.

If the shoes look familiar, it’s probably because they were pulled straight from Khaite’s fall 2019 runway. The boots have a slouchy silhouette and a small kitten heel, making them ideal for transitioning from day to night.

Of course, there’s a catch. Since they’re made from real calf hair, the boots come with a hefty price tag: $1,800.

It’s important to point out that we wouldn’t normally pair printed footwear with a formal gown. However, we’d be lying if we didn’t say that we’re digging the contrast of the zebra stripes, almost like a low-key pop of color.

This isn’t the first time Holmes has slayed the fashion game. In fact, the actress recently spoke on a panel for Hoka One One’s “Women Who Fly Panel” and wore a comfortably chic outfit, consisting of dad sneakers and mom jeans.

All hail Katie Holmes.
