Katie Holmes may be known for her affinity for ballet flats, baggy trousers, and boho dresses, but she's also not above pulling off an edgy look here and there.
Last night, during the spectacular close of New York Fashion Week, the Dawson's Creek alum attended Tom Ford's spring 2023 ready-to-wear fashion an all-black ensemble. The outfit consisted of a clingy long-sleeved dress with wrap detailing at the chest and an attached hood, which had framed her new spiky bangs.
Ever the minimalist, Holmes accessorized sparingly, stepping out in strappy bronze heeled sandals and carrying a plain black clutch. Jewelry-wise, she opted to wear a few sparkling rings.
Earlier in the week, the actress channeled a completely different fashion era while sitting front row at Ulla Johnson's spring summer 2023 show. To the event, she wore one of the designer's floral creations, this one from her autumn winter 2022 collection. The maroon look featured multiple orange floral patterns all over, as well as an orange asymmetrical ruffled trim on the skirt. She finished the ensemble with a small black shoulder bag and a pair of slouchy black leather boots.
Back in June, Holmes opened up about her personal fashion preferences and her off-duty style in an interview with BAZAAR.com. "I love my T-shirts, and I love my vintage T-shirts. They're so yummy. They're a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that's me," the Coda star said at the time.
