Kathy Griffin may need to brush up on her memes.

The comedian lashed out at Andy Cohen on Friday after Cohen claimed to TMZ he'd never heard of her -- which Twitter users instantly recognized as a nod to a go-to Mariah Carey meme.

"Who? Who?" Cohen said as the paparazzo tried to ask him about Griffin. "I don't know her."

The feigned ignorance was a throw to Carey, who a few years ago said "I don't know her" when a reporter asked her about rival Jennifer Lopez.

Cohen will replace Griffin alongside Anderson Cooper this December for CNN's annual New Year's Eve broadcast, and although the exchange with the TMZ reporter is seemingly in jest, Griffin clearly took it to heart.

"He is NOT kidding w paps. Was my boss for 10 years. Treated me like a dog," Griffin tweeted. "Deeply misogynistic."

Griffin did not elaborate on Cohen's alleged misogynistic behavior.

If Griffin was in the dark about the meme, she's not alone -- the cameraman also had no idea what Cohen was doing.

"This is a bizarre interview, man!" he said. "You don't know who Kathy Griffin is?"

Cohen stared at him with a blank expression: "I'm trying to remember..."
