Kathie Lee Gifford's Family Is Once Again Expanding

Kathie Lee Gifford's family keeps expanding.

On Friday, June 2, the Today alum's daughter-in-law Erika Gifford announced that she and husband Cody Gifford are expecting their second child together. Alongside a video "celebrating" their firstborn, Frankie—named after the late Frank Gifford, Kathie Lee's husband of almost 30 years—Erika confirmed that they'd soon become a "party of 4."

"Baby Gifford #2 coming this winter," she added. "Please start sending me names that start with the rest of the days of the week."

Of course, it didn't take long for well wishes to come pouring in for the happy family. Case in point: Cassidy Gifford, Cody's sister, chimed in with, "Can’t get over the greatest news! Love you guys can’t wait to meet the precious little one."

Nicole Combs, wife of country singer Luke Combs, added, "Woo hoo!!! Congrats 💙💙."

E! News alum Lindsey McConathy replied, "2 under 2 here you come! Frankie is going to be the best big bro!!!"

We're sure Kathie Lee is more than ecstatic, too, as she's already obsessed with being a grandmother. In fact, earlier in the week, the 69-year-old celebrity paid tribute to little Frankie, writing on his birthday, "Happy birthday to the sweetest little man in the world. So grateful to God for the gift of Frankie."

And, earlier in February, Kathie Lee gushed on Today about how Frankie "looks a lot like Cody."

Of course, this isn't the only grandchild Kathie Lee is set to meet, as daughter Cassidy is also pregnant.

In December, Cassidy and husband Ben Wierda shared that their little one was set to arrive in 2023. Cassidy wrote on Instagram at the time, "A whole lot extra to be praising Jesus for this Christmas. Our little peanut arriving June 2023."
