Katherine Schwarzenegger Shared a Peek of Baby Lyla on Instagram

Are mommy-and-me beanies a thing?

New mom Katherine Schwarzenegger is closing out the year with a little treat for her Instagram followers. Continuing in the somewhat-irritating tren of celebrity moms showing just a tiny bit of their little ones, Schwarzenegger shared a family snapshot that showed off just a tiny bit of Lyla (full name: Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt) along with proud pops Chris Pratt.

While the photo doesn't show much other than Lyla's beanie — which looks pretty cute next to Schwarzenegger's own knit hat — it continues the trend of new moms showing their kids' feet, hands, and heads without a full-body shot. Privacy issues aside, these tiny peeks give followers a little dose (literally) of baby cuteness.

"Closing out 2020 with a quiet beach walk (and a first beach experience for one of us)," Schwarzenegger captioned her Instagram post. Lyla features in the first and second photos of the gallery. In addition to her pom-pom beanie, she's got it pretty good in a leopard-print carrier while her parents soak up the sun.

Back in August, the couple shared a hands-only shot of Lyla to announce her arrival on each of their respective social media feeds.

"We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier and we feel extremely blessed!" they captioned the image. "Love, Katherine and Chris."

Before the simultaneous posts went up, Schwarzenegger's brother, Patrick, confirmed Lyla's arrival to Entertainment Tonight, saying, "They're doing great — just got her a little gift."
