Katherine Heigl is 'Grateful' for Husband on 12th Anniversary

Katherine Heigl is sending love to her husband after 12 years together. The former "Grey's Anatomy" star posted a few black and white photos of herself and husband Josh Kelley along with an emotional caption.

"This man...this day...this marriage...I am damn grateful. That he found me. That I found him. That we have somehow miraculously bettered each other. Happy 12th anniversary love of my life. And thank you. For never wavering in your love, your loyalty. For being an endlessly blissful safe place to land. For raising a joy up in me that bursts forth in uninhibited raucous peals of laughter."

"Holy shit do I love you!" Heigl exclaimed.

She ended her message by telling her husband, "I Am still madly in love with you. Am forever blessed by your love for me."

Heigl got praise from her fans for the outpouring of emotion, but she also received a response from one of her old co-stars.

Ellen Pompeo commented, "Happy Anniversary," on Heigl's post, showing there's no hard feelings for that drama that went down behind-the-scenes on "Grey's Anatomy" from back in the day.

Their Family

Heigl and singer Josh Kelley tied the knot on December 23, 2007, in Park City, Utah after meeting a couple of years earlier on the set of his music video for "Only You."

In 2009, the couple adopted a daughter from South Korea named Naleigh. South Korea was the birthplace of Heigl's sister, Meg, and the star felt a strong connection with the country. In 2012 they adopted another daughter, this time a baby girl from the U.S. who they named Adalaide.

After first adopting two daughters, Heigl and Kelley welcomed a third child in December 2016 when she gave birth to a baby boy, Joshua.

Joshua recently celebrated his 3rd birthday, and Heigl went on social media to reflect about life with little Joshua.

"I feel like this mirror gazing, face making, ear discovering moment kinda says everything about him right now. He is absolutely hilarious...and he knows it. He adores his big sisters and all their coddling. He reaches for me whenever he’s tired or sick or lonely. He reaches for his father whenever he’s full of it and looking for a buddy to bounce off the walls with. He overflows with curiosity and enthusiasm for the simple things like a cool pair of shoes whether they’re yours or mine or his. A good ball cap. A John Deere tractor. Rain puddles or snow banks. Mirrors. I am endlessly grateful that this kid came careening in on clouds of glory to make us complete. Happy Birthday my beautiful boy. I will hold you for a million years to make you feel my love. Mommy"
