Kate Moss Has the Most Perfect, Low-Key Beach Bangs

To the fashion and beauty worlds alike, Kate Moss is known as the ultimate It-Girl, a supermodel legend who ran through the ‘90s gracing cover after cover with her sultry gaze and steel-cut cheekbones. Luckily for us, Kate has never stopped modeling, and her latest campaign reminds us why we fell in love in the first place.

In shots from a recent David Yurman ad, Kate Moss is seen posed towards the camera with these incredible, beachy bangs hanging over one eye. Her glowy skin and smoky eye definitely add to the overall look, but it’s her bangs that have us planning an impromptu trip to the salon. The bangs are super versatile and can be easily brushed or pinned back if necessary, which is a huge pull for those of us worried about taking the plunge into bangs.

Master Stylist and Co-Founder of Warren-Tricomi Salons, Edward Tricomi agrees this style is perfect for those who want bangs without the commitment. “Because these bangs are side-swept, you can style them in a multitude of ways, and can even hide them with ease,” he explains. “This gives you the freedom to really play around with the hair and test the waters before you decide to take the leap into a blunt cut.

If you’re looking to copy Kate’s look, have your stylist put hair into a side part and cut bangs at a longer length than usual, with layers blending the cut into the rest of your hair. For styling, first add tons of body at the root with a product like the Oribe Volumista Mist for Volume ($42). Then blow dry the hair and use a one-inch curling iron to add waves. Kate’s beachy waves are a less risky of the curly bangs trend that’s happening on the runways right now.
