Oct. 1 is the kickoff date for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Kate Moss has revealed — very literally — a new campaign with Stella McCartney to support the cause. The British designer, who just showed her Spring/Summer 2015 collection at Paris Fashion Week, created a hot pink lingerie set. The bras and underwear are special edition of her Gemma Relaxing line, which is priced between $40 and $80, will hopefully encourage and remind women to give themselves self-exams when getting dressed and proceeds from the sales will support the Linda McCartney Centre in the U.K.. “There are so many women affected by this terrible disease and even more people affected by the loss of the incredible women in their lives,” McCartney told WWD.

The 43-year-old’s mother, the namesake of the Linda McCartney Centre, passed away from the disease in 1998 at the age of 56. McCartney explained that proceeds from the sales of the set would help fund a new Mammography suite. “If I had known then, what I know today about breast cancer, I think my mum would still be alive and I don’t think there is anything more important than having your loved ones in your lives for as long as possible,” she said. “If you can prevent this illness coming into your life and destroying your family unit, then there is nothing more important. I can’t think of anything more important than staying healthy for yourself and for your loved ones.”

Moss’s scandalous look, which cheekily incorporates the cause’s pink ribbon, was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. McCartney noted that “Kate is a strong feminine woman with a daughter and a husband; a strong family unit. For her it was important to bring awareness to this campaign to keep families together.”

The collection will be available online at stellamccartney.com, Stella McCartney stores and select department and specialty stores worldwide.
