Kate Middleton wore a bracelet that belonged to Princess Diana

Kate Middleton is a royal style icon in her own right, and we've seen her dressing like fellow fashion trailblazer, Princess Diana, on more than one occasion.
And now, Kate has offered up a meaningful tribute to her mother-in-law, by wearing a gorgeous pearl and diamond bracelet which belonged to the late Princess.
Attending the G7 Summit alongside other senior royals and world leaders, Kate opted for a white tailored blazer dress, which perfectly matched the precious piece of jewellery.
The delicate, three-strand pearl and diamond bracelet was worn by Princess Diana on numerous occasions, and Kate herself has actually worn it before too.
The piece was created by Nigel Milne, with the late Princess of Wales pictured wearing it during her 1989 visit to Hong Kong, where she matched the bracelet with the Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara which Kate has also worn since.
And the pre-loved bracelet certainly seems to be precious to Kate too, as she's been seen wearing it several times including during a 2017 trip to Berlin and again during her 2018 royal tour of Sweden.

Kate's look is certainly more business-casual than Princess Diana's, with the late Princess of Wales pairing the bracelet with her famous pearl-embroidered "Elvis" dress, and it's lovely to see Kate making the piece her own.
Of course, the pearl bracelet isn't the only piece of Princess Diana's jewellery that's been handed down to Kate. The Duchess of Cambridge is usually seen wearing her blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring, which Princess Diana chose for her engagement to Prince Charles.
So sweet! Maybe we'll see Princess Charlotte wearing her grandmother's bracelet one day too?
