Kate Middleton Wears a Royal Blue Kurta on Her Second Day in Pakistan

• Prince William and Kate Middleton began the second day of their royal tour of Pakistan with a trip to the Islamabad Model College for Girls, where they highlighted the importance of girls' education and witnessed the effects of the "Teach for Pakistan" scheme which helps disadvantaged kids.

• Kate chose a traditional look—a royal blue classic kurta with trousers and a scarf by designer Maheen Khan—for the engagement.

Prince William and Kate Middleton kicked off their second day in Pakistan with a trip to the Islamabad Model College for Girls, a government run school for disadvantaged 4- to 18-year-olds, where they focused on highlighting the importance of education for girls.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a royal blue classic kurta with trousers and a scarf by designer Maheen Khan for the engagement and looked absolutely stunning.

Khan Fashion, a Pakistani fashion and costume designer who has been working since 1972, has won awards as a designer for labels like The Embroidery House, Maheen, a couture label, and Gulabo, a high street label inspired by truck art.

In addition to her groundbreaking work as a fashion designer, Khan has also done embroidery for films and television shows, including Snow White and the Huntsman and The Jewel in the Crown.

Kate chose a lovely, traditional ensemble for the outing, during which she and her husband saw "the effects of the ‘Teach for Pakistan’ scheme which helps disadvantaged kids," according to the Daily Mail's royal correspondent, Rebecca English.
