Kate Middleton shocks shoppers while browsing for Halloween costumes for George and Charlotte

The Duchess of Cambridge shocked shoppers on Thursday after being spotted at a local Sainsbury's in Norfolk, England, with her two eldest children in-tow. Kate was said to be helping Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, both of whom are on half term from school, pick out Halloween costumes from the supermarket chain.

“It was lovely to see her just being a normal mum shopping with her kids," said a shopper who spotted the duchess, according to The Sun. “I love how she just goes about her normal life, she is so down to earth."

The mom-of-three is frequently spotted running errands around Norfolk, during the family's visits to Anmer Hall. The 10-bedroom country home was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth.

According to reports, the royal family plans to spend their Halloween holiday carving pumpkins and making cupcakes.

“Now [that] George and Charlotte are slightly older, Kate’s decided that this year the family will make pumpkin faces,” a source told Us Weekly. “Kate and William will do the carving and the kids will decorate them. This is something Kate’s really excited about as she loves seeing her kids being creative.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrapped up their five-day royal tour of Pakistan last week, which was filled with multiple engagements, including two visits to SOS Children's Villages Pakistan, an organization that helps provide a loving home for over 150 boys and girls.

"The community at the SOS Village is built around family - and the best possible family you could imagine - where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care," the Duchess of Cambridge shared about the organization in her first-ever post to Instagram.
