Kate Middleton and Kensington Palace gave the world a little treat this morning in honor of Mother's Day in the UK. (They celebrate in March while the U.S. celebrates the holiday in May.)

The Duchess of Cambridge shared a new photo of her and her husband Prince William giving piggyback rides to their two older children Prince George and Princess Charlotte in Norfolk on Kensington Palace's Instagram. The new photo was paired with a shot of William's late mother Princess Diana with him and his brother Prince Harry when they were kids, Kate's mother Carole Middleton with baby Kate, and the card Prince George made his mom this year. At six years old, he's quite an artist.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge acknowledged today may be difficult for some mothers and children who cannot physically be together due to the coronavirus pandemic, as everyone is asked to social distance.

They wrote, "To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart–we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Happy Mother’s Day 🌷"

Kate's Mother's Day tribute comes days after she and Prince William made a private visit to London Ambulance Centre in Croydon in support of the UK's National Health Service's work. Kate wore a dusty rose Marks and Spencer suit there.

William made a statement after the engagement, saying, "Catherine and I were proud to visit staff working at NHS 111, to pass on our personal thanks, along with those of my grandmother and father, to staff working around the clock to provide care and advice to those that need it most. The last few weeks, and more recent days have been understandably concerning with the continuing spread of coronavirus. But it’s at times like this when we realize just how much the NHS represents the very best of our country and society."
