Royal watchers are eagerly awaiting news about the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child, but based on the father-to-be's attendance at this morning's Anzac Day services, the wait isn't over yet.

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at today event, which honors those citizens of Australia and New Zealand who have died in military conflict or peacekeeping operations, and marks the anniversary of the "first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War."

He was seen walking in to the Westminster Abbey memorial alongside his sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge, who chose a bright blue look for the event. If there is any sort of "rift" in the royal family, as has been suggested by a number of publications, it certainly doesn't appear to be between Harry and Kate. They were photographed smiling, laughing, and chatting together as they entered the church.

Prince William was not in attendance at today's services because he is currently in New Zealand, to pay tribute to the victims of the Christchurch mosque shootings. The two-day visit is being made at the request of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, and on behalf of the Queen, who serves as monarch of the island nation.

Per Kensington Palace, over the course of the trip, "the Duke will meet with those affected by the attack and will pay tribute to the extraordinary compassion and solidarity that the people of New Zealand have displayed in recent weeks." He started his visit by attending a local Anzac Day service in Auckland.

For her part, the Duchess of Sussex likely skipped this morning's events as she is so close to her due date. This past weekend, the Sunday Times reported that she was "due within days."
