The Earthshot Prize Awards are finally here!

Kate Middleton hit the star-studded green carpet this evening dressed to the nines alongside Prince William for his environmental initiative's second annual ceremony at MGM Music Hall in Boston. In keeping with the sustainable ethos of the event, the Princess of Wales radiated in a bright green off-the-shoulder gown from Solace London which she got from rental platform HURR. She styled her hair down and completed her elegant ensemble with an emerald necklace that once belonged to Princess Diana and matching earrings.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales looked dapper in a velvet navy blazer, which he wore with a white collared shirt and bow tie, and black trousers.

The ceremony is hosted by Clara Amfo and Daniel Dae Kim, and will feature performances by Billie Eilish, Chloe x Halle, Annie Lennox, and Ellie Goulding. There will be five winners chosen from the 15 finalists previously announced, with each winner receiving £1 million to expand their innovation. Kate is expected to present an award, as are celebrities Rami Malek, Catherin O'Hara, and Shailene Woodley, and William is set to deliver a speech to close off the show. After the event, the well-dressed Waleses will also meet presenters and performers backstage before attending a private reception with those who have helped organize the event.

The ceremony is being recorded and will air on Sunday at 5:30 GMT on the BBC and the Earthshot Prize YouTube channel. In the U.S., it will begin streaming at 2 p.m. EST on Monday on PBS.org and the PBS App and at 8 p.m. EST on the PBS YouTube channel.

Tonight's event marks the end of Kate and Willliam's jam-packed three-day trip in Boston. The couple arrived in the New England city on Wednesday and carried out several engagements related to the Earthshot initiative. During the whirlwind 72 hours, they lit up City Hall and other Bostonian landmarks in green, traveled to Somerville to visit Greentown Labs, which describes itself as the world's largest climate technology startup incubator, and met with a non-profit helping at-risk young people in Chelsea. Earlier today, Kate stopped by the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University to learn more about their work in early child development, while William visited the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, where he met Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and President Joe Biden.
