From Town & Country

Kate Middleton just wore the prettiest polka-dot dress to her first day of tennis for the season. She and her new sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex, are at the tournament to watch Meghan Markle's close friend Serena Williams play in the women's final on center court.

The two Duchesses are nicely co-ordinated for the match, both wearing white and blue.

We'll continue to add additional photos as they come in throughout the day, but here's another look at Kate's outfit:

The Duchess of Cambridge is a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which means she is also a royal patron of Wimbledon. She'll also attend the competition tomorrow with Prince William to watch the Mens' Singles Final.

Though all eyes were on Kate and Meghan as they arrived at the tournament, the main event is surely Williams's historic match against Germany's Angelique Kergberg. Williams won Wimbledon in 2015 and 2016 but did not compete in 2017 as she had recently given birth to a daughter. She came in 4th at this year's French open.

The Duchess of Cambridge has watched Serena play Wimbledon before and in 2016, Kate made a surprise appearance on Serena's Snapchat. "Okay, so I'm with the in crowd now... I'm with royalty!" Williams can be heard saying in the selfie video she took of herself and Duchess Kate, who didn't say anything but smiled broadly.

Coincidentally, 2016 was also the year that Meghan Markle was at Wimbledon to cheer on Williams. That would have been right around the time Markle and Prince Harry first met and Markle was seated not far from Pippa Middleton, whose wedding she would attend with Harry a year later.
