  • It’s Mother’s Day in the UK today, and Kate Middleton and Prince William posted a sweet message about it on their Instagram.

  • It included a homemade Mother’s Day card from Prince George, which is truly a piece of art!

We here in America will celebrate Mother’s Day this year on May 10, but those charmingly quirky Brits across the pond celebrated Mother’s Day today, on March 22, so—happy British Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!

Prince William and Kate Middleton, being the positive Instagram presence that they are, hit up the ’gram with a message sending love to all moms on their special day. The royal couple wrote, “To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart—we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Happy Mother’s Day 🌷.”

They also shared quite a few pictures, one with Kate, Will, Charlotte, and George; a throwback of Will with Prince Harry and their mom, Princess Diana; and another of baby Kate with her mother, Carole Middleton. But the indisputable best part of this post is that it included a photo of a homemade Mother’s Day card that George made for his mom, and the dedication George put into the card is really impressive. I mean—the color variety! The patterns! The tissue-paper flowers! It’s incredibly cute:

And here’s a solo shot of George’s card, just in case you want to, I dunno, print it out and frame it/send it to your mom and pretend like you made it yourself:

After seeing this, I’ve gotta say: If Will and Kate’s Instagram turned into a page of George’s handmade art, I wouldn’t be mad about it!
