Duchess Kate is mingling with world dignitaries tonight at a reception for NATO leaders at Buckingham Palace. The stately fête, hosted by Queen Elizabeth II to honor 70 years of the NATO Alliance, included guests like Canadian president Justin Trudeau, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and U.S. President Donald Trump. They and other such heads of state began gathering in London today for the alliance's latest summit.

The Duchess of Cambridge dressed to the nines for the occasion, opting for a bright green look with a high neck and elegant puff sleeves. She added some sparkle to the ensemble with a pair of dangling diamond earrings.

Other royals in attendance included Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who joined the queen in formally welcoming the NATO leaders and their partners. Prince Edward, Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Princess Alexandra are also present to welcome guests in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace, according to Town & Country.

Noticeably missing from the list are Prince Andrew, who has stepped away from royal duties "indefinitely" following his associations with Jeffrey Epstein; Prince William, who is currently on an official visit to Kuwait and Oman until tomorrow; and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been on a break from royal duties since early November. (They recently celebrated Thanksgiving with close family.)

This isn't the Duchess of Cambridge's first time rubbing elbows with Donald Trump. She attended a banquet honoring the president's state visit to the U.K. in June this year. Prince Harry attended a private lunch with the president and other royals at Buckingham Palace earlier that day.
