While the royal family is taking the current coronavirus pandemic seriously, that isn’t stopping them from their usual busy schedule of volunteer work and speaking engagements.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out on Tuesday for their latest appearance, where they tried their hands at bagel-making at London’s famous Beigel Bake bakery.

The 24-hour bakery was forced to reduce their opening hours during the pandemic, and while chatting with staff The Duke and Duchess learned about the ways in which the shop has helped the local community through food donation and delivery, despite the difficult circumstances.

Later in the day the couple stopped by the East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre to visit with volunteers who have supported members of their community during COVID-19 pandemic.

The socially-distant meeting shone a light on these diverse communities and the challenges they have faced over the last six months, while highlighting individuals and businesses who have gone above and beyond to help others during this extraordinary time.

Dressed for the event in a red floral midi dress and matching heels, it was once again that the Duchess’s face mask of choice that stood out.

A practical accessory that the 38-year-old royal has worn on repeat for several of her last engagements, Kate accessorized her outfit with a printed floral face mask from British kidswear label Amaia.

Made using a feminine Wiltshire Liberty floral outer layer, the mask comes with 5 filter inserts for added protection while in use, and features elastic ear straps for comfort.

The Duchess wore the mask most recently on a trip to Barry Island in South Wales, where she accompanied Prince William and met with local business owners that are in the process of getting back on their feet following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
