Ever since Michelle Obama wore those iconic Balenciaga metallic thigh-high boots during her book tour for Becoming last year, I’ve been desperate for a pair of my own. The thing is, as you might imagine, I’ve got literally zero places to wear golden, glittery over-the-knee stiletto boots. While the thick, stacked heel isn’t Michelle Obama-worthy height, it is ideal for someone like me who walks a lot and doesn’t go on glamorous book tours but still wants to look good.
