The Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed some downtime with her children, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, while watching Prince William play at the Maserati Charity Polo Trophy yesterday; but the outing wasn't all fun and games. At one point, Prince George was seen getting visibly upset on the sidelines, so mom Kate Middleton jumped in to comfort her little one right away.

Luckily, George wasn't feeling down for long. Aside from his minor slump, he was seen frolicking around with his little sister and bonding with his seven-year-old cousin, Savannah Phillips, Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly's daughter.

The last time we saw George and Savannah together, they were stealing the show at Trooping the Colour over the weekend. At the grandiose event, the royal tots joined the rest of their family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, but they caused a bit of a scene when Savannah covered George's mouth to stop him from singing.

The image instantly went viral, but their appearance at Sunday's polo outing was a lot more tame. The cousin pair had a sweet moment while barefoot in the grass.

Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, was too busy making her mom laugh during Sunday's polo event. She sported a pair of oversized shades and tried to do a somersault, which left a smile on Middleton's face.

The Duchess didn't only cheer up George this weekend, at Trooping the Colour, she had to comfort Charlotte too. The three-year-old appeared to accidentally slip and hit her head on the Buckingham Palace banister, but Middleton consoled the young princess and helped her recover in no time.
