Duchess Kate and Prince William have been keeping busy since the end of Remembrance Day events. On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a joint appearance to organization Shout’s Crisis Volunteer celebration event at the Troubadour White City Theatre in London. Afterward, bearing a large bouquet of flowers, Kate nearly stumbled on the sidewalk while heading back to the car.

William, ever the gentleman, seemed to instantly react to his wife's near-fall, reaching out a helping hand. Even so, Kate was able to steady herself. Subsequently, she looked back over her shoulder to William, who was then entering the car, and laughed.

During the celebration, William and Kate also shared some rare PDA moments. William was photographed placing his hand on Kate's back. In another instance, the duke reached out to touch her arm, which she then reciprocated.

Though the gestures seem small, they are incredibly rare instances of affection available to the public eye.

Kate donned a smart outfit to Tuesday's engagement. She wore a pair of tapered Joseph pants in a maroon shade (the trousers are still available in black online). For outerwear, she wore a black-and-white Smythe jacket. Her sophisticated look was finished off with a pair of black suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi.
