  • Kate Bosworth is living her best life while on vacation—and she's got all the cool photos to prove it.

  • The 39-year-old Blue Crush actress recently took to Instagram to post some snaps of herself in a teal bikini. And wow, her abs and legs are beyond sculpted!

  • So how does Kate do it? Well, she's dedicated to her P.volve workouts, which focus on low-impact micro-movements. (Oh, and she also does a lot of walking.)

Kate Bosworth just turned 39 and she’s giving off some serious Blue Crush vibes in the most epic way.

The actress, who starred in the iconic surfing movie 20 years ago, dropped several pics of herself on Instagram at the beach— rocking a teal bikini. Kate’s smiling broadly in all of them, whether she’s standing on the beach or riding a horse. But it’s really, really hard to miss the fact that she’s got a serious washboard situation going on with her abs.

“This is 39 :) 🏄🏼♀️💙✨,” she captioned the pics.

People were all about in the comments. “You are a gorgeous beach bunny, @katebosworth 😍❤️,” one person said. “I wanna look that good at 39 ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” another wrote. And shout-out to the person who totally referenced Kate’s surfing flick, writing, “Is there a sequel to Blue Crush I’m not aware of?!”

But back to those abs… Kate previously told Women’s Health that she feels like she’s an all-around healthy person these days. "What I love most about where I’m at today in terms of my fitness is that I not only feel the healthiest I’ve been in my body, but I also feel the healthiest I’ve been in my mind and my heart," she said. "The truth is, it really does all connect."

Kate said she used to be really into high-impact workouts like running and lifting, but now focuses on things like pulsing, along with low-impact workouts several times a week that center around lifting, sculpting, and tightening her muscles.

Kate’s also big into exercises that tone her booty and she specifically works on those with her trainer. "I believe that the glutes are some of the hardest muscles to target," she said. "You have to be super consistent with it."

One of those moves is using exercise equipment from P.volve, a low-impact fitness method that focuses on smaller ranges of motion and functional movements. She dropped a video of herself using the P.Ball on Instagram and it’s definitely something you’ve got to see:

"I know that everyone thought the video I put up about P.volve was pretty funny," she told WH. "It’s a provocative video, but it’s actually such a wonderful piece of equipment. P.volve is really focused on those kind of low-impact, micro-movements in order to target hard-to-reach areas."

Speaking of her trainer, Kate works with Stephanie Watson, nutrition coach and CPT, who she met on a TV show called The I-Land. "She’s also very focused on low-impact exercise and the mind-body connection," Kate said. "Her whole mission is low-impact fitness and I learned everything I know about that from her."

One big part of cardio for Kate is walking. Yep, walking. "You just have to get out and move,” Kate said. She also uses her walks as a way to decompress. "When I walk, I don’t bring my phone, I pay attention to my surroundings,” Kate said. “I have a connection to breathing and what’s happening in nature. I think now more than ever people need that.”
