Kanye West faces a battery investigation in Southern California after he yanked a cellphone from a woman’s hands and then chucked it into the street, according to a report.

In a viral video published by TMZ, the 45-year-old rapper appears frustrated with a woman who is filming him from inside her vehicle. It’s not clear whether she’s a member of the paparazzi or simply a fan, but West shows little patience and apparently hops out of his own vehicle to confront her.

His new wife, Bianca Censori, can also be seen in the passenger seat of his auto, but she does not follow her Grammy Award-winning husband.

“Y’all ain’t going to run up on me like that,” West, who goes by Ye, tells the woman, who continues to record. “Stop with your cameras.”

The woman pushes back, telling West he’s a “celebrity,” at which point he grabs her phone and throws it.

Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. local time on Friday, a law enforcement source told TMZ, and West was later named a suspect in a battery investigation.

In separate video published online Friday, West can also be seen demanding that photographers leave him alone

“You want me to be running up on your kids’ games like that?” he tells one person.

“Everybody has got to stop when I see my kids,” West says. “I need to see my kids without you photographing. It’s called human rights.”

Both videos were apparently recorded near a sports complex where his 9-year-old daughter, North West, had a scheduled basketball game.

West surprised fans this month with his marriage to Censori, an architectural designer for his fashion brand, Yeezy. News of the nuptials came just two months after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian after seven years of marriage.

But his sudden wedding isn’t his only move raising eyebrows. West has recently come under fire for making a series of anti-Semitic remarks. In an interview with Alex Jones, he praised Adolf Hitler.

His antics could prevent him from being granted a visa to Australia, Censori’s native nation.
