Kanye West Says He and Kim Kardashian Aren’t “Going Full Will and Jada”

Kanye West’s full 44-minute interview with Hollywood Unlocked finally dropped, where he opened up a lot about his divorce from Kim Kardashian. And while parts of this interview were previously aired, there are some new quotes about Kanye’s feelings on Kim in general.

“No human being is immune to their surroundings,” he said while speaking about Kim’s interest in politics, via E! News. “There’s a lot of people around Kim that can influence her. You know, she’s making certain decisions. She's just looking for safety and a safe place to be.”

Ye also noted, “Women love Kim. Kim is just a poster child of somebody somebody: a mom, a lawyer. Can’t nobody deny that everybody loves Kim.”

When it comes to their split, Kanye said that he and Kim won’t be airing out their problems together like Will and Jada Smith, explaining, “We not going full Will and Jada because everybody got problems on both sides and it don’t need to be aired out.”

As Complex notes, he kept his comments vague but emphasized that his number one focus is his kids. “They can go on SNL and make jokes. They can make jokes in the media. They can plant stories about whoever I’m dating,” Ye said. “They can block deals or do whatever that type of stuff, but I’m going to tell you straight-up: Don’t play with my kids.”
