Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's marriage is legally no more, but West kept the public drama between them going after the hearing when he released a new music video that seemingly took aim at Kardashian's new boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Rolling Stone reports that Kardashian and West were restored to legal single status this morning in Los Angeles. Kardashian appeared virtually, telling Judge Cochran “yes” when asked “Did you have problems, disputes, differences causing a breakdown of your marriage?”

“Would counseling, additional time or assistance of the court save your marriage?” Cochran asked, via Rolling Stone.

“No,” Kardashian replied, then confirmed it was her “desire to be restored to the status of a single person” and have her maiden name restored.

“It is my understanding there is no opposition [to your petition], so it is granted,” Judge Cochran said.

West's attorney attended the hearing, but the rapper himself did not show.

Instead, he dropped a music video this afternoon for his track “Eazy,” which disturbingly depicts him burying a cartoon man resembling Davidson alive. (“Eazy” is the West track that has the lyric, “God saved me from the crash / just so I can beat Pete Davidson's ass.”)

West ended the video with two slides that said, “EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER / EXCEPT SKETE YOU KNOW WHO / JK HE'S FINE.” The video is on his Instagram page for now. (West has repeatedly referred to Davidson as “Skete” on his social media.)

Kardashian has not commented on the “Eazy” video, unsurprisingly. The release of the music video comes the same week West went Instagram official with his new muse, 24-year-old model Chaney Jones, who looks quite a bit like Kardashian.

A source told Entertainment Tonight in mid-February that Davidson isn't bothered by West's attacks on him.

“Pete finds Kanye's lyrics and interviews about him funny and entertaining,” the source said. “He is super chill about the situation and doesn't take it too personally. But he hates that Kim has to deal with the drama.”

The source added, “Pete is certainly helping her through this and has been supportive and reminding her not to focus on it too much.”
