Kanye West apparently "likes where things are headed" with Irina Shayk

It's only been a few days since Kanye West and Irina Shayk were spotted in France together, amid earlier rumours that they were dating, but already Kanye "likes where things are headed" with the Irina, according to reports.
Following Kanye's divorce from Kim Kardashian, which was announced in February 2021, the rapper and model Irina have been romantically linked. According to TMZ, Kanye and Irina jetted off on holiday together in Provence, France, to celebrate his 44th birthday.
Their report claims the pair "were seen smiling and strolling around on the grounds of a luxury boutique hotel with some friends, but also by themselves...looking very much like a couple." The outlet also said they are "100% romantically together."
Earlier reports linked Irina, 35, and Kanye, 44, as early at 25 May, when Instagram-based celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi received a tip-off which read, "Kanye West is now secretly dating Irina Shayk."
So far, neither Kanye or Irina have spoken out about the dating rumours, but the photos have been published in the Daily Mail, and new reports claim that the rapper sees a future for the two of the them.
"Kanye always had a thing for Irina, so she came to mind early on in his divorce from Kim," a source told Page Six. "He decided to shoot his shot, and it worked."
The source added, "Irina is a very hands-on mother and won’t let a new romance distract her from her daughter, so it's perfect that things with Kanye are very casual and laid-back at the moment. They’re still getting acquainted, but the spark is definitely there, and Kanye likes where things are headed."
Kanye celebrated his 44th birthday on 8 June, with many of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians crew reaching out on social media with well-wishes. Khloé Kardashian wrote, "Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings!!"
Kim added, "Happy Birthday Love U for Life! 🎈"
Kim and Kanye were married for six years, before they were hit by split speculation in January. Kim officially filed the divorce petition in February, with TMZ reporting the reality star asked for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one.
Irina Shayk split from actor Bradley Cooper in June 2019 after four years together, and the pair share a daughter, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper. Here's to hoping they're both happy and moving on.
