Kaleidoscope fans have noticed a major mistake in the Netflix show

Netflix just dropped its new interactive heist show, Kaleidoscope and it's safe to say it's already been a hit with fans. Loosely inspired by the true story of when $70 billion dollars in bonds went missing during Hurricane Sandy in Downtown New York, the series follows a group of thieves as they embark on a mission to break into a vault to steal said bonds.

The eight-episode season, which is based over a 25-year period, randomises the order you watch each show to make you challenge your perspective on each character (and the heist in general). But one major mistake has been circulating the internet in terms of accuracy, causing fans to highlight it (and joke about it) on social media.

The episode in question is 'Green', and it sees explosive expert Judy being caught by a prison guard trying to smuggle her boyfriend, Stan, a SIM card into prison. Her aim is to bribe the guard with tickets to a One Direction concert, but eagle-eyed fans noticed the flaw in her plan: the tickets were for March 6th, 2016 - six months after the group announced their hiatus.

ICYMI, (which of course, you didn't - alumni Harry Styles is *the* biggest popstar in the world right now), One Direction was put together on ITV's The X Factor in 2010. They ultimately came third and became one of the most famous bands on the planet, and their split was literally breaking news everywhere at the time.

So in hindsight, it was obvious this error was going to be spotted.

Plenty of fans rushed to Twitter to document the moment, with one user writing: "I HAD to go back on Kaleidoscope cause I KNEW I SAW ONE DIRECTION on those damn tickets. 2016? smh," as another joked: "One Direction still being together in the year 2016 and playing msg in Kaleidoscope was so funny #Kaleidoscope."

A third wrote: "Not the One Direction tickets!! #KALEIDOSCOPE #Green" as someone else typed: "One Direction cameo in Kaleidoscope!! tickets get handed over for 'One Direction Madison Square Garden, sat mar 6, 2016' LMAO."

Awks...
