Kaia Gerber's Cloudy Eclipse Look Was Three Shades of Gray

Kaia Gerber looked like a certified umbraphile with her fit for Monday’s eclipse.

Spotted on the streets of New York City—and presumably headed to check out the celestial phenomenon for herself, the model was seen in an outfit composed of three different shades of gray—a perfect theme for a day characterized by its shadows.

Up top, the Bottoms actor wore a stone-gray long-sleeved top that was ever so slightly cropped. The boat-neck design featured visible white stitching along the sleeves, and Gerber layered a golden watch over one of the cuffs. The California native added a slate pencil skirt with a subtle pinstripe pattern and a slight slit along the back. Gerber’s third and final shade of gray came in the form of a set of satin silver mules.

In a playful move, she stopped to pose for paparazzi who were photographing her as she headed to her car. For the pictures, she held up her very apropos accessory: a pair of creamy blue eclipse glasses. The way Gerber kicks off trends, don’t be surprised if you start seeing these on the runway.

After debuting her cloudy outfit, Gerber stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she changed into a dusty-blue tube dress, which she paired with the same silver heels she wore during the day. Gerber winked at the color of her dress with blue eye shadow in the corner of her eyes, and she accessorized with a pair of chunky white gold earrings from Tabayer.
