Kaia Gerber Just Cut Her Hair Into a Long Pixie Cut, and People Are Obsessed
Kaia Gerber has been a member of The Bob Club for quite some time now — since this past summer, to be exact. In June, legendary hairstylist and global director for Redken, Guido Palau, cut the supermodel's medium-length hair into what he called a "boyish" bob, and since then, she's gone shorter and shorter. Over the weekend, Gerber got scissor-happy yet again and debuted what has to be her most dramatic cut to date: an a-line pixie.
The genetically-blessed 18-year-old revealed her fresh cut on Instagram, first in a post on her grid and then on Instagram Stories, too. In the latter shot, which is front-facing, you can see that her stylist cut it subtly shorter in the front to frame her gorgeous face. Because it's longer in the back, it still looks like she has a super-short bob when she has her hair tucked behind her ears, but when she lets those front pieces fall forward, it verges into pixie territory.
Naturally, fans and fellow celebs alike are obsessed with Gerber's transformation. For instance, Bella Hadid, who's wearing her hair cropped again, showed love for the new look in the comments, writing, "dead for this hair."
This just goes to show what a difference a subtle hair change can make, as Gerber now has a whole new, multi-dimensional look that's way different from most of the short celeb styles we've seen in 2019.
Needless to say, if you've been considering a significant hair change for winter or the new year, this cut would most definitely be a cool one to copy.
