Kaia Gerber Dyed Her Hair Blonde
The social distancing hair effect, by which many of us undergo at-home style transformations out of pure boredom, has officially reached another of our favorite celebrities: Kaia Gerber.
Over the past weekend, Kaia shared two photos to her Instagram showing off her new hair color, and, yes, the beloved model, known for sporting her hair brunette is now a blonde.
In the first photo, Kaia shared a shot of her in an olive green bikini showing a cast on her right arm. "Had a little accident but I’m okay!" she captioned the post, to which many commented heartfelt messages, sending her good healing vibes. And while we're wishing for a speedy recovery it was what many failed to see that caught our attention: Her new hair!
In case there were any doubts, then in a second photo, Kaia shared a shot of herself chilling by the pool, showing her newly blonde hair pulled back while reading "Play It As It Lays" by Joan Didion off her iPad. The novel is part of the book club Kaia participates in every week.
It appears that there may now be a supermodel book club happening during the lockdown as Kendall Jenner has also been spotted reading a handful of books in recent weeks. I may not know how to strut the runway as well as Kaia and Kendall, but I do know how to read so I want in. Aside from the book club and broken arm, Kaia's new blonde hair is a stunning choice that we wholeheartedly support. Blonde for the summer? Count us in!
