Kaia Gerber Has a Chic Long Bob With Curtain Bangs Now

Kaia Gerber went on one helluva journey with her hair in 2020. Last spring, for instance, the 19-year-old supermodel was repping a light brown bob with subtle golden highlights. Then, once summertime rolled around, she experimented with being a blonde for a hot minute before going pink with Guido Palau's help. Now, though, Gerber is officially back to her brunette roots — and sporting some chic new curtain bangs to boot.
The model showed off her mini-makeover ahead of the weekend via an adorable video on her Instagram Stories. In the clip, she's zhuzh-ing up her hair and doing a happy dance, clearly elated with her new look. The caption on top of the video reads: "my hair has been on a JOURNEY but we're back! can you tell I'm happy? ✂️ @aarontheking."
Additionally, Gerber thanked colorist Matt Rez for getting her back to brunette. After dyeing her hair blonde and pink last summer, we have to imagine it was quite the process. Luckily, Rez is one of the best in the business; his Rolodex of clients includes A-listers like Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Jenna Dewan, and many more.
In regards to Gerber's cut, well, the addition of curtain bangs was a nice touch as the wispy fringe frames her face beautifully. Plus, they add a bit of fun flair to an otherwise basic long bob. Curtain bangs were actually trending everywhere last fall, with the style spiking major interest on Pinterest. Needless to say, this just goes to show that the trend is still going strong in 2021.
Congrats to Kaia on the fresh cut. This is definitely imploring us to experiment with curtain bangs this spring.
