Let us elaborate: Hailey Bieber is almost always dressed upscale, while Justin Bieber is known for loving a good slipper — but they have just proven that when they match, they match oh so well.

The Biebers celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary this week, and, to commemorate the occasion, Hailey posted on Instagram a carousel of images, the first being her and Mister Bieber wearing matching white socks and black loafers, which is honestly perhaps the most sartorially in tune we've ever seen them be. Justin wore an all-black outfit with oversized jorts and a knitted sweater, while Hailey wore a patterned red mini dress with her Mary Jane-style loafers. (And we can appreciate how white those white socks are? Almost blinding. Biebers, please drop your detergent recommendations!)

Back to the anniversary. The happy couple made separate posts honoring their relationship, giving us a small but beautiful visual glimpse into the life they've shared over the years. "5 ✨ 🤍 I love you," Hailey said in her Instagram post.

Justin posted a round-up of similar images to his page with the caption: "To the most precarious, my beloved. 5 years. You have captivated my heart. I know from the depths of my soul down to my bones that this journey with you will only exceed our wildest expectations. So, let's keep dreaming big, baby. Cheers to forever and ever. I love you with every fiber of my being. HAPPY 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY."

As some of the celebrities with the biggest following in the planet, Justin and Hailey Bieber have had to masterfully navigate their relationship in the public eye. In March, Justin interviewed Hailey for a Vogue Australia cover story, and she shared more details about her relationship with the Canadian megastar. "My favorite thing about being married is honestly the companionship I feel we have," she said at the time. “Genuinely, you are my best friend in the entire world. There's nobody I would rather spend more time with or do anything with.”

Hailey and Justin love a good outing together, and we hope to see many more matching outfits in the years to come. Footwear and socks are just the beginning, baby!
