Justin Bieber has been teasing music for what seems like forever now. There were rumors that he was going to release his new album sometime around the holidays, the first one in four years since he dropped Purpose. But it seems like that won't be the case because Justin's been giving us hints that his album might actually come out in the new year. Justin's been posing a graphic that reads "2020" all over his Instagram feed and fans think that he's confirming that his new album will be out sometime next year instead.
Justin's likely been working on his new music for the past several years and a source told E! News that the album is "pretty much done and it will be out soon."
The insider also confirmed that the album will be out next year. "They are putting on the finishing touches and aiming for early 2020," the insider says. "Justin is very excited to share new music and to get out on the road again. It's been a long time coming and he's feeling very ready."
The source told E! News that a lot of the music on Justin's new album will revolve around his real-life experiences. "There were a lot of dark times and the breakdown he went through," our insider shares. "He touches on his mental health struggles and how he got through it." In recent years, Justin's been open about dealing with mental health issues and it seems like he'll continue to address the topic on the new album.
The album will also feature music about how Justin's wife, Hailey, has helped him through his dark times. "He also writes a lot of about their love and the power of their love being different than anything else he's experienced," the source told E! News. "It's a familiar sound that the fans will love. He's doing what he does best and everyone is really looking forward to getting it out there for the world to enjoy."
Now all we need is the actual release date to drop.
