And Just Like That is almost coming to an end (*cries*) and the series has been filled with drama - from that Miranda and Steve storyline, to Harry's scandalous nude scene.

While there's only one episode left to air (dropping on Thursday 3rd February), fans already have a very surprising theory about what could happen during the season finale.

Episode nine, which aired last night (Thursday 27th January), saw Miranda's husband Steve (David Eigenberg) and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) in a scene together while painting a women's shelter. The two have a heartfelt conversation, with Steve opening up about his divorce from Miranda. He then goes on to help Carrie rescue Big's wedding ring after she drops it down the sink.

Discussing whether Steve would like to meet someone new, Carrie tells him that he's a "wonderful, wonderful person," and it's all very cute. The moment between the pair was teased during the episode nine trailer, where we saw Steve stepping towards Carrie, before she hurriedly steps back... right into a tray of paint.

Following the sweet scene between Carrie and Steve, fans have taken to Twitter to share their theory that the pair could end up together in the final episode - and, yep, it's wild.

On fan wrote, "So, anyone else see that Carrie/Steve chemistry?" while another added, "Now why Carrie and Steve kinda looking cute together … I won’t be mad if they were paired".

More viewers speculated on what could happen next week, with one writing, "What if Steve and Carrie end up together?" while a fourth chimed in, "Call me crazy, but I got the weirdest vibe that the writers are trying to put Carrie and Steve together."
