It is good to be Bong Joon-ho. Director Bong arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He's there for the Academy Awards, and he'll be there because he's the mind behind Parasite, which might not win Best Picture but is assuredly one of the year's finest films. Bong will probably look great on Sunday night, but it will be difficult to top his travel fit: all black, Stüssy bucket hat, slick Nikes, the air of a man who is atop the whole goddamn movie world. Bong is a big deal. This is a big fit.
