On Friday, June 5 there's a bright full moon in Sagittarius, as well as a lunar eclipse. During this eclipse, the moon squares warrior planet Mars, creating a bit of an angry energy. To make matters worse, all Sagittarius wants to do is travel, so stay-at-home orders may cause even more tension than usual. Communication planet Mercury enters its epic retrograde on Thursday, June 18 in homebody Cancer through Sunday, July 12. Due to planetary alignments, this might be a less intense Mercury retrograde than others we've experienced in the past, but it will bring up some issues centered around home and family. You can expect some conflicts with roommates, stress regarding living situations, and other worries around close relationships. I know, Taurus — June is a hard month. But you are strong, and you can get through it. Don't be afraid to lean on friends during this time, as they will need your support as well.

Circle Saturday, June 20 in your calendar because it's going to be an emotional but fabulous day. It's the Summer Solstice, which is traditionally a celebration of abundance. It's also the start of sentimental Cancer season and a new moon, which signifies new beginnings. Find a way to connect with your chosen family. Set up a virtual celebration to connect. Use this day as a chance to express gratitude for what you have and hope for the future. The next day, on Sunday, June 21, we're hit with a stressful solar eclipse. Stay inside and keep your head down, as right now is more of a time for reflection. Solar eclipses are chaotic even during normal times, let alone during an international crisis. Turn off the news. Pick up a book. Journal, if that appeals to you.

June comes to a confusing close when dreamy planet Neptune goes retrograde on Monday, June 22, where it will stay until Saturday, November 28. During this time, it's hard to tell reality from fiction. We may receive strange and contradictory messages about the state of the world. Keep grounded by meditation and other self-care activities and try to take life one day at a time.
