Welcome to June, Aries. Last month, romance planet Venus went retrograde, throwing everyone's love life into a tailspin. Luckily, that won't last forever. Now, circle Friday, June 5 in your calendar: It's a full moon in adventurous Sagittarius and a lunar eclipse. This sets the stage for an especially difficult weekend. This sign has a lust for travel which makes social distancing even more frustrating, and because the moon is opposite Venus retrograde, relationships are also tested. Mercury retrograde in family-oriented Cancer begins on Thursday, June 18, and goes through Sunday, July 12. While we associate Mercury retrograde with miscommunication, texts from exes, and travel issues, this one actually has the potential to improve your love life. Rather than being connected to a planet, this retrograde is connected to the star Sirius, which is associated with abundance. Astrology can't predict the effects of COVID-19, and during this time we are all trying to figure out the future of our economy and our social lives. This Mercury retrograde gives us an opportunity to talk to our partners and get on the same page about our relationships before stepping back out into the world. Be your assertive self, Aries, and you'll have an opportunity to negotiate what you want.

Another astrologically busy day is Saturday, June 20. It's the summer solstice, which means it's the longest day of the year. Cancer season begins, and there is a new moon in Cancer on this day. Then, on the very next day — Sunday, June 21 — we're hit with a solar eclipse. Cancer loves the home and family, but that doesn't have to mean your blood relatives, Aries. You can use this time to recharge and reconnect with loves ones, through virtual hangouts or perhaps a socially distanced walk.
New moons mark new beginnings, so this is a time of fresh starts. Solar eclipses amplify the power of new beginnings. You may have recently become settled into a hermit-like routine, but now, it's likely you want more. Perhaps that means wanting more from a romantic partner or your community. One season is ending and another is beginning, and after the spring we had, everyone is ready for social change. This weekend asks you to figure out what that looks like for you.

Things get real when Neptune, the planet of illusions, goes retrograde on Monday, June 22, through Saturday, November 28. This transit lifts the curtains away from any illusions we have about life. As society begins to talk about plans for reopening, you must accept that real life may not look like how it used to. For some time, we will be dealing with the fallout from COVID-19.
