Is Juliette Pregnant When ‘Magnum, P.I.’ Returns for Its Final Season?
This exclusive first-look promo of the final season of Magnum, P.I. says “when you least expect it, everything can change,” and then cuts to a scene where Juliette Higgins (Perdita Weeks) tells Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernadez), “Thomas, I’m late.”
Maybe she’s late for a hair appointment, or a meeting with a new client, but normally when a woman tells her partner that she’s late, it has a much bigger meaning. We’ll have to tune in to find out if there will be some little Magnums running around soon.

When Magnum and Higgins first became a couple in the Season 4 finale with a passionate kiss, there was worry that the show would jump the shark. After all, in the original series, which starred Tom Selleck, Higgins was a man. But it was one of the changes that showrunner Eric Guggenheim considered when he rebooted the series to keep things from getting stale.

And it worked. The first half of Season 5 found the action no less diminished and the added romance a plus. And the back half of Season 5 will continue the story of the Hawaii-based private investigators.
Magnum, P.I. returns for its final episodes of Season 5 on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
