That’s talent! Julianne Hough’s longtime hairstylist and close friend Riawna Capri revealed on Thursday, July 13, that it surprisingly took minutes to create the bride’s wedding reception look.

Capri, the co-founder of West Hollywood hotspot Nine Zero One, shared a photo of Brooks Laich and Safe Haven actress Hough sharing a kiss while cutting into their three-tier cake. In the photo, the Dancing With the Stars judge wears a bohemian, see-through, second wedding dress, which pairs perfectly with her loose wavy bob.

“I’ve done Jules hair hundreds of times, literally, and haven’t repeated the same look twice,” Capri wrote on Instagram. “So you can imagine, doing her wedding hair could get slightly, confusing, what to do!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Debating on cutting it for the reception, we decided to go with a #fauxbob days before.”

Indeed, Capri has been responsible for some of Hough’s most memorable red carpet beauty moments. Some hairstyles have taken hours to create, while others have been more manageable. But who knew pulling together a look on the biggest day of Hough’s life would be so simple?

“Considering I did this look in 10 minutes from a 12 hour sleek ballerina bun 😳 my anxiety was high,” Capri continued. “But Jules assured me ‘you know, our quick ones always turn out to be the best!’ And guess what, not only was she right, might be the best 10 min [‘do] I’ve ever done. #perfecttiming 😏❤️ Thank you @juleshough for trusting me for all these years. 💕#proudtobeyourfriend#proudstylist #julesmymuse.”

Capri, who works alongside co-owner Nikki Lee at Nine Zero One, previously shared that Hough’s loose hairstyle has emerged as the most requested hairstyle from clients. “‘The Julianne’ is what people call it,” she previously told People. “It’s that short, textured haircut that I created on Julianne Hough about three or four years ago. She was one of the first people to actually experiment and go short and not do a perfect short haircut — it’s more of of a disheveled f—d up haircut.”

Capri previously touched on what she loves most about her job. “Making people smile. Making people feel good, people who come in and have had a sh—y day or have just been broken up with or are just going through bad times,” she shared in the same interview. “You work your magic, you cut, color, style and blow them out and they look in the mirror and smile.”

Hough, meanwhile, was all smiles on her wedding day to Laich. The couple married at Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, on Saturday before 200 guests. “It was MAGICAL!!!” the newlywed wrote on Instagram days after the nuptials. “My best friend, my love of my life, and my new husband @brookslaich and I brought our family and closest friends together to have fun, encourage love, and celebrate our marriage! I’m so grateful I get to spend forever with this incredibly kind, thoughtful, strong and adventurous man. I’m the luckiest woman in the world to be your wife!”
